Outlook users cannot update their distribution groups and get the error 'Changes to the distribution list cannot be saved. You do not have sufficient permissons to perform this operation' . I have made a script so that I can import a bulk of pst files into our exchange 2003 system. Unfortunattely the name of the pst file has to be the same as the persons legacyExchangeDN. Now I have had a lot of pst files with a different name then our legacyExchangeDN for that person. Is there any way to tell exchange that brian.pst has to be in JohnJohn his mailbox?

With Exchange 2010, is there a way to copy all sent email from one mailbox to another. Say I want to setup an audit mailbox ZZZ. I want all email sent from selected mailboxes (multiple) to copy into this mailbox ZZZ so when I open up mailbox ZZZ, I can see all email sent by those selected mailboxes.

Is it possible to get information about the time a message was sent by having the msg-id? I know there is a Date header but I would like to know if the msg-id contains any time-stamp. I have a doubt in my normal backup copies include the C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA where the first mailbox file priv1.edb Storage space of 13GB. Also from the backup copy the windows tree "Microsoft Exchange Server\W2003SBS\Microsoft Information Store\ First Storage Group".

In the middle of migrating users from one domain into ours. We are using ADMT to migrate the users accounts w/sid. The cross org mailbox moves are going fine. We have noticed that, everyone thats been migrated can open everyone else's mailbox. Has anyone seen this before? Checking the permissions the user has yields nothing as the permisisons all appear appropriate. Thanks in
