Hi everyone. We attempted a 2003 AD domain rename last night that didn't work. I did a domain rename multiple times in my test bed with (1) 2003 AD server, (1) 2003 Exchange Server and (1) Windows Server 2003 to be used to issue the domain rename commands. Shortly before we started, I noticed the AD server had two domains in the logon screen's domain drop down. Domain1 and Domain2. Domain1

Situation 1 We have an existing Exchange 2003 Backend environment with an Exchange 2007 Frontend (for Webmail & Activesync). Recently we added an Exchange 2010 Backend (mailbox) server to migrate all the exchange 2003 mailboxes to. Currently all 2003 mailboxes can access webmail and Activesync by means of the Exchange 2007 server. When I move one of the mailboxes to the Exchange 2010

Hi, We have Exchange 2010 in Site 1 along with the PDC (Win2K8). In site 2 we have another domain controller (DC2, Win2k3). When we add a new user to the PDC and then go to the Exchange console to add a new mailbox for an existing user, the new user takes a long time to show up. When we add a new user on DC2, even though it's in a different site, the user will show up immediately on

With Exchange 2010, is there a way to copy all sent email from one mailbox to another. Say I want to setup an audit mailbox ZZZ. I want all email sent from selected mailboxes (multiple) to copy into this mailbox ZZZ so when I open up mailbox ZZZ, I can see all email sent by those selected mailboxes.
Is it possible to get information about the time a message was sent by having the msg-id? I know there is a Date header but I would like to know if the msg-id contains any time-stamp. Is there a doc which explains the rules by which a msg-id is created (I also know that the msg-id must be unique). Thanks in advance for any pointer, Massimo

You can try OST file recovery tools to repair your OST file. Below is a list of them: http://www.datanumen.com/aexr/compare.htm Most of them provide a free demo so you can try first. Just wondering, using Exchange 2010, has anyone developed or discovered any kind of interface that would allow users to set up forwarding by themselves to an external email address? I know how the Exchange Admin accomplishes it, at least on Exchange 2007, that is, create a mail contact and use the "Delivery Options" in "Mail Flow Settings" to forward the user's mail to that contact.
