I've done this for years with Exchange 2003, copy over the right dll
files to a backup server and you can access the Exchange message store
for backing up via NTBackup. I'm now working with an Exchange 2007
server which happily works with NTBackup on the server, but when I try
to go from a Server 2003 server, and select the Remote Store, I get
the error "The specified computer is not a Microsoft Exchange server
or its Microsoft Exchange services are not started"

Is it impossible to remotely backup an Exchange 2007 from another
computer running NTBackup?
