Hi All,

We have implemented exchange server 2010 and we are using hosted
solution as mimecast for the antivirus, Message filtering and message
hygine. We have created send connector for external email flow through
Smarthost(Mimecast). and we have default receive connector as our
inbound email flow is from mimecast hosted solution. all is working
fine.

Now we have requirement to allow application server to relay from our
exchange environment and therefor we have created receive connector
and configured remote network setting to application server IP address
and authentication is Exchange server authentication and permission to
exchange users and exchange servers. as soon as i have created the
receive connector for allowing relay. we are not able to receive any
email from outside it comes from our hosted solution and directly gone
to Queue and user are not able to receive email from outside.

Can you please let me know from where i went wrong and also please
guide me how can i enable relay with exchange server 2010?
