Fixed font Subject: Mail receipt issues

Running OL2k3 SP3 on Win XP Pro SP3, with EX2k7 on Win SBS 2k8. User cannot
see any new messages. Starting OL gives error "Cannot start the reminder
service. ....The file c:\d&suser\.....\outlook.ost is in use and could not be
accessed...." Also get error 0x80040600 when trying to connect to EX server.
No new messages display in OL. User had BSOD several days before this
started, disk error but was brought back to life with Repair utility. System
had other issues with Symantec Endpoint, cleaned them up and few days later
ran defrag overnight. When I came in next morning system had been restarted
and user was logged in as himself (not user I had left logged in). I think
this is when problem started.

I set up permission to access user's mailbox, can open his Inbox no problem
through my OL, can see new messages. Can also log in as him on different
computer and CAN see new messages and send email. However, most of his
incoming mail is not even making it to his mailbox. 2 test msgs I sent from
an external source WERE received, but email I send from my computer, within
domain, does not make it to his mailbox. Only 2 other emails in past few
weeks have made it to his mailbox. There is also a large number of Synch Log
error messages in his deleted folder: "Terminated in error
8040600-501-8040600-940 Client Operation Failed Microsoft Exchange Server
Information Store." See this link...doesn't provide information. Nothing in
any of the Queues, according to Queue tool. I'm an Exchange newbie so any
replies will need to be detailed, please.
