I could not find a way to preserve plain text messages with Exchange. I send plain text messages to Exchange addresses via davmail that talks EWS with Exchange. If I run Microsoft Office Outlook, I can see my message shown in fixed font, but if I click another message and click my plain text message, I see it changed to a proportional font. If I save the message into an MSG file, I see

Hi, I'm an Exchange newbie but I need that: for some mailboxs, I would like that each received and sented mail message (for particular mail address, such as corporate costumers as example) will be converted/extracted to a pdf file (such as a print-to-pdf) with possible attachments. Is there a way to launch an executable when an email comes in to a specific address on our 2008 exchange server? Using Java's LDAP protocol, how to check if a user exists in a particular OU/Group ? I have one approach in which, get the distinguishedName for this user and then remove the first CN part (username). This will be left with OU part. Now check if this OU matches with the given OU. But does not sound like a perfect solution to me. Any other better approaches? Regards, Shivaraj

Hi All, Just a few questions, wondering if anyone could answer them. 1. Can Exchange server traffic to limited to specific range of port? 2. Is there a recommended range of ports by Microsoft to lock Exchange into? 3. If #2 is no, then how many ports are needed by Exchange (1, 10, 50?). Pick a high range ports say from (62,520+) to lock Exchange into.
