I have exchange 2007 IMAP account configured in outlook 2007. since
last week, It is taking time to download messages in morning only. It
works normal during normal course of the day.
I have disabled all add-ins, removed encryption check box in account
and installed sp2 but, problem still persists...
Any views...

In Outlook it is possible to create a rule that moves messages to specific
folders in the users mailbox, depending on the contents of the subject or
body of the message. Unfortunately those rules only work local and within
the users mailbox.
Is it possible to create any server-side rule that does the same, but then
for all users ? If yes, how and where cabn I create such rules ?

One thing to check here! You must be sure that the folder you create under Eforms Registry to host your forms that you post from Outlook, is exactly the same langauge as the outlook client. For example, 2003 Eforms Registry foldlers default to Bulgarian and even if you change that language to English USA, you won't be able to post forms to it if the Outlook client itself is installed as

Well, totally removing IPv6 seemed to get the rpcping to 6001 to work.
However it is still not able to work on 6004 (NSPI).

I've been over this in every conceivable way and can't figure out what is wrong.
I have two all-in-one (client access, mailbox, hub transport) exchange servers (psmail and momail) at two different sites.
If i try:

We were runnig fine until I installed sp1 on my CAS servers. Outlook was no
longer able to connect to our casarry.company.com address.
casarry.company.com points to a CISCO CSM hardware load balancer which then
points to both of our HUB/CAS servers. Once we installed sp1 Outlook
clients would not longer open saying it could not connect to the server.

Greetings,
Using OL2007 SP2 in an exchange 2003 environment, all emails are flowing in
perfectly to the clients. Problems show up when one wants to open an email.
If its a text email, no problem. If the user opens the email and needs to
authorise the download of images within the emails, Outlook 2007 will crash
every single time. We have this issue on 4 out of 4 clients using

We have a guy that's set up a bunch of message rules on OWA but not on his
locak Outlook. This appears to be causing some problems with downloading
complete messages vs. message headers... is there any way to copy the
message rules from OWA to his local Outlook?

Did you discover a solution for this OWA dropping keystrokes problem? My organization has been experiencing a similar (if not exactly the same) issue for some time now.
We suspected Sophos was somehow involved, but could never nail it down.
If you are still experiencing the problem, perhaps we could compare to find commonalities.
Please let me know either way.

You can recover your lost or deleted mails from your inbox by using some third party software for recovering deleted or lost mails from your inbox. You can try this software which will solve your problem - http://www.deletedemails.net

My university uses Exchange 2007. I can access my email and calendar
via Apple Mail and iCal (yes I'm a Mac user) without a problem. For
example my "Internal Server Path" in Mail is EWS/Exchange.asmx

I am running Oulook 2010 and Exchange 2003 w/sp2.
Everytime I get a meeting request is goes right to my "Deleted Items"
folder. When I check, the meeting is on my calendar so it's like I have
"Auto Except" on.
Can someone tell me how to turn it off?

Active Directory (AD) is a built-in feature of windows server 2k+ that replaces many of the old nt4 administration programs.
I think the person posting that was referring to AD users and computers on their server under start>administrative tools.
As for the original issue of the disappearing nav pane, this will make you cry at how easy it was to fix.... I almost did... :P

We are running Exch 2003 sp2 and jsut installed Exch 2010 into the org.
Everything seemed to be working fine. However, I have a few users reporting
that when they look at the GAL they don't see new users that we have added
sense we introduced Exch 2010. The funny thing is is that most people can
see the new users just fine!
Any idaes what I'm missing?

We are installing Exch. 2010 and we have two HUB/CAS servers. We were told
that we could offload virus scanning to the HUB/CAS servers, is that right?
Or do we HAVE to do the scanning on the Mailbox server? We are using Trend
Micro ScanMail for Exchange 10.0 R2.

I've been using Mac Mail.app and my iPod Touch with Intermedia hosted

We have begun moving our Outlook 2003/2007 clients from an Exchange 2003
server to 2010.
The people who have been moved have noticed that when they press delete on
an email message, it is not removed from the view until they move to the
next message.
This confuses them, because they try to press delete twice, and the 2nd time
they get an Unknown Error.
Is this normal?

reply?
This would make it more similar to Outlook ...
This option is also missing in the Outlook express, unfortunately.

I have a user that has four problem items on his calendar. About every two
mins. they show up in his Deleted Items folder (but they are NOT removed
from his calendar. By the end of the day he has hundards of copies in his

We finally fixed it by saving the network passwords in the Windows user
accounts, publishing the certificate locally, and adding the domain to
the trusted or intranet security group in IE's Options.
I don't know which one was the key - we had already given up on saving
the outlook passwords (plus its more secure) but wanted to save the
sharepoint password. We did all three of the above and

I was going to ask how much time had passed since you updated the OAB as
it takes up to 24 hours for it to be downloaded. But that would not give
you the Exchange error.
You don't have a firewall on the XP machines that could be blocking
ports, do you?

I'm trying to set up a common calendar for the docs and administrative staff
in my medical practice, so we'll all know who's on-call, who's on vacation,
who has swapped weekend coverage with whom, etc.

I have an SBS 2003 server. I can connect my Windows Mobile phone (Samsung
Blackjack I) using ActiveSync on the phone w/o any problems.
However, when I try to sync my HTC Android or iPhone I get errors. For both

Just upgraded our office install to 2007 and now the out of office
assistant reports unable to contact exchange server, free busy connection
also appears to be down but all else works fine. OWA is fine and works as
normal. Exchange is 2007 64 bit.
Tried a patch from microsoft on the exchange box which was purported to fix
a possible problem with .net but made no difference.

When we receive a paypal email the item information detail is in a
nested table. This email contains the shipping information and items
purchased.
In OWA, IE or Firefox, this nested table does not display properly. The

When I look into my account by using OWA I can see there are 2 mails in the
Outbox, but they do not appear in Microsoft Outlook. I can't find any copy
in Sent, neither in Outlook, nor in OWA, so my conclusion is they havn't
been sent. Normally I never use OWA, but when on holiday I had to use it.
Can anyone please explain why the mails does not appear in Outlook, and
maybe also why
