I know a shareware can do this, visit www.winpim.com for details.

Outlook 2002 latest service pack
POP account with local calendar
Would like to see the weekly view when opening the
Calendar by default.
Now when I change it from daily to weekly and then close
Outlook, the next time I open the Calendar it is back to
the daily view. On a different computer, same version but
different PST, the weekly view stays as the default view.
How can I set a company public calendar as users default
calendar, mainly to facillitate all users to get the
reminders?
Can a public contacts folder be set up as all the users'
default cardex?
If not, can they be synchronized or automatically updated
with any changes or additions/deletions.
Yes, you can do this easily. Outlook allows you to insert an "Item" such
as a contact or mail message into a calendar appointment. After clicking on
the Action--New Appointment with Contact, Click on Insert...Item...choose
the contact from the "Look in:" folder list Contacts and choose your client
from the "Items:"...but be sure that the "Insert as:" Text Only is checked.
This will show
Is their a way I can have the month view display on the top row (last week)
and the current week to be the second row.
Currently by default it displays the current week on the last row of the
month view.
Thanks in advance,
Ozzy
I'm trying to post this again!! For some reason my posts keep geeting
deleted? It's an honest question.....:)
When I go to print a full month's calendar on one page it cuts off
appointments on Sat/Sun. Is there a way to print a full calendar with all
appointments for the entire month on one piece of paper (On Landscape view
of course)?

John is right about the screen size--I see end times only when my screen
resolution is set to 1280x1024, but then the printer still won't handle the
end times. I work around this by starting my calendar entry with the end
time as part of the subject. Example, and appointment from noon to
1:30...Subject=1:30 Lunch with XYZ client. I do have to remember to change
this if my appt times
I run Outlook 2000 (Office 2000) on 2 computers, my
notebook and my home desktop. I would like to be able to
synchronize my calendars and my contacts between those
machines. I do not use Exchange server.
I've heard of this being done but cannot find anything
about HOW to do it.
If you highlight all the information on the Atendee Availability tab of the
meeting appointment, you can do a copy and paste into another email message
or into Excel or Word.

Tom,
You would set up Calendar Free/Busy options under Tools, Options,
Preferences, Calendar Options, and Free/Busy Options button. Verify that
the users are publishing info to the server, generally about 3-4 months
worth.

I have a user who uses the meeting function all the
time. When adding a person to the list of attendees and
clicks on save and close, the option comes up to send
updates only to added and deleted attendees. She selects
this option but it sends the notice to everyone in the
list, not just the new ones. However, it doesn't happen
all the time, which makes it that much harder to
Hello,
I have set up a net folder as a shared calendar. it is
only shared with 3 other people that are on my peer to
peer network. Once the updates are sent out, then i start
receiving the same updates back which results in about a
million entries of the same meeting on the calendar.
These reoccuring entries show up on everyone's calendar.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

When I launch Outlook XP, it changes display settings to 8
colors from 32 bit color. When I close outlook it returns to the normal
display
settings.
I have been seeing very strange behavior with my calendar locking up and
crashing Outlook as well. Try opening Outlook in safe mode by holding down
the left control key and then editing a calendar object and the restarting
Outlook in normal mode. I have had good results doing this.

I have a user that cancelled an appointment but the email
was not sent to cancel the appointment from everyone's
calendar.
She got an error something like: this cannot be found when
clicking on the appointment.
This has only started happening since an upgrade from 2000
to XP.

Hi,
I am using Outlook XP on a Windows XP machine. I have several recurring
events which span several days--sometimes two or three events a day. I have
tried
setting them up as all-day events, and I have tried setting them up as
1:00AM-1:30AM for the first, 2:00AM-2:30AM for the second, etc. so they are
not conflicting.
The multiple events appear correctly on screen and on print, but
Has anybody ever come accross a new meeting request that
arrives in the users mailbox with a header of "This
meeting does not appear in the Calendar, it may have been
moved or deleted"?
This notice cannot be correct since this is a brand new
meeting request that has never been modified.
Microsoft has no articles on this type of event.
