I imported 2500 old contacts and created about 90% duplicates. I'm using Office Outlook 2007 and I can't believe that there is no tool in this software to intelligently merge duplicates that have been created via the import tool. Does anyone out there know of a third party tool that will do this? It would be simple logic: If the contacts have the same modification date then delete one

In older versions of Outlook, you could start a new message, add all your contacts to the address field, hit Control K, close the message & from that time forward, on a new message names would show in the address files as you started to type. Now it will only work while Outlook is currently open, close & re-open & that ability is gone. Why? How do I get that back?
