by email ids, do you mean addresses? If so, try mapping both the Full Name and the Email Address fields to that column during import.

If you copy them all to the same folder, you can use one of several available duplicate checkers. See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm#dupes

I have my contacts organized into distribution groups.
Once put into a group you cant see any address or phone
number info for members of that group. Also when you do a
export to a csv or other file there is no way to do just
that group of contacts. So basically the groups function
is useless for anything other than email. I need to be
able to expand those groups into full field
I have been searching for some time now, if anyone can
help, that would be greatly appreciated. I want to create
a new field in Contacts to have a box checking option. I
have a list of attributes that would best be expressed
with a list and boxes empty or checked next to them. Is
this possible? How would I go about doing it?
Thank you for your help!!
When I send e-mail from Outlook to Lotus Notes, all my
attachments are converted to unreadable dat file. Does
anybody else have experienced such a problem?
I receive an error message on my in-box stating "No
transport provider was available for delivery to
recipient". I am sending the message to my default email
address and then Bcc to the distribution list.
Everytime I enter a phone number cell or business number
in a new contact. a screen pops up saying I am in
cambodia and then puts the cambodia overseas number code.
I uncheck the please check box on this pop up and change
it to United states. then i recheck the box. it works
that time only. When I enter a new contact or new phone
number cambodia comes back as the default. Whoa.
I searched and searched and no answer. The Outlook product
help gives an answer, but it is not correct. I have a
distribution list that I want to e-mail to someon else.
How do I do it? I'm stumped.
Thanks!
This should be easy - so easy I can't find the answer. I
am trying to export all my contacts in outlook to put on

Most people have more than one eMail address, i.e., one
for personal, one for work, perhaps secondary etc. When
you do an address lookup in Outlook 2000 they are labeled

them. Is there any way to rename the eMail labels into
something more meaninful like "Home", "Work", "Office"
etc? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

You'd need to ask your mail server administrator if the server has a limit. Outlook can easily handle 1,000+ recipients itself.

Thanks very much.

Is there a way to change the address book wizard in Outlook 2002. I
want to be able to click New Letter to Contact but it pulls up the

Outlook doesn't use an address book. It uses a Contacts Folder. You 'd have
to export that using Outlook's File > Import and Export... menu.

I've posted
The easiest way is if you have Microsoft Small Business
Server (or something similar if you have more than 50
computers on your network) on your server, you can have a
Public Contact List and you won't have to worry about
importing and exporting.
Before we had SBS we had a peer-to-peer network and we had
one person be the master contact list keeper and that
person exported (from
