A couple of days ago, an annoying thing started happening with Outlook 2010. It always happens when I go to reply to an email, and sometimes happens when I just let Outlook sit there without me doing anything. What happens is that it keeps popping up dialog boxes asking me if I want to save a file. The name of the file is cryptic, and ends with a .html extension. The filename actually

Are you using outlook 2002? Actually this type of problem generally appears in outlook 2002 and earlier version. You should not worry about this problem as it happens due to inbuilt size limitation of outlook. You should use service pack released by Microsoft to solve this issue. OR it is better to convert PST file in unicode format that is available for outlook 2003 and later versions.

Hi, I use an IPAQ 1910 with Active Sync 3.5, Outlook 97 and XP. It works fine. However my computer went on the fritz, and while I was fixing it I was considering a backup sync with the netbook that has XP on it. In 2007 I could categorize my incoming email by a particular color, this allowed me to color code particular people and made it very easy to see who had emailed at a glance. I tried the Outlook Tools/Trust Center/Automatic Downloads solution many times and it never worked for me. Took days. Then I stumbled on my own fix. The above needs to be done first, but the problem lies in the fact that Outlook 2007 uses MS Word 2007 settings to handle emails. If photos aren't showing up in emails, try this: 1. Open a new email message as if to send, but don't. 2. In top
