Some of our users running Outlook 2010 is missing the Archive option under FILE-->Mailbox Cleanup. Their mailboxes are enabled for auto archving. Has anyone expierenced this and what was the resolution. Thanks!

Hello We have an irritation with Outlook whereby the setup wizard seems to randomly (we think) start up. Somtimes it can happen 10 times a day, other times it doesn't happen all day. We have not yet identified any trigger, we have had it happen when we have not had any other ms-office programs open. I am getting the following Spam report as an email daily... Subject: Daily report mailbox xxxxx@xxxxxxx.xx folder Spam Your folder Spam contains 6 new messages. Messages in this folder will be deleted after 28 days. I can then see Summery: the From, Subject, and size, but when I go to my Junk E-mail folder, it is empty. What do I need to reconfigure?

I have looked in the Advanced tab under the account properties but there is no where to chang the "Leave a copy of messages on Server" setting. I am running Outlook 2007 on a Windows 7 PC. When I click on the Outlook 2007 Options menu, then on Search Options on the Preferences tab there are no files listed in the "Index messages in these files" box. I do not see any way to add a PST file to that box. Needless to say, Outlook message indexing is not working. How can I turn on Outlook indexing on my pst file? Thank you.

When I open a new mail message the window size is always full screen (side to side, not necessarily top to bottom). I can change the size of the new mail message, close it and reopen with out closing outlook and it comes back the size to which it had been set. If I close and reopen outlook the window size of the new mail message is back to full screen again. How do I fix this?

I've installed Office Professional 2003 on a computer with 4 User accounts in Windows XP. I installed it from the Owner account and it appears there, but clicking on Outlook anywhere in the other 3 accounts give a message saying "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook". I bought a new Microsoft 7 based computer and restored my .pst files to Office 2007 on it. Now all of my phone numbers are formatted with a +1 in front of the 10 digit number. I have researched this issue for 3 days and have not found a solution that works to delete this +1 which I believe is the country codde. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Is it possible to connect to two different Exchange servers at the same time? I have different email ids on two Exchange servers. I have two profiles and can download mails from either one by selecting the correct profile. Is there anyway I can open both at the same time? If not then is there an easier way to switch between the profiles without closing Outlook and starting it again

I recently upgraded from Office 2007 to Office 2010. When I had Outlook 2007, if I read an email, it would not be sent to my iPhone when I checked for email messages on my iPhone. Now, with Outlook 2010, even though I read an email on Outlook, when I check for messages on my iPhone it reads the email. Is there a preference in Outlook I can change to alleviate this? Thanks. --

I opened up my Programs and Features menu thru my Control Panel. I uninstalled the connector for my outlook, it was from Oracle. Once that was done I used my outlook without it. The e-mail account I was setting up stated that I needed the connector, however I found that without it I was able to connect to it. With the connector however I was not able to because of that "beautiful" error message

I can receive e-mail on Outlook but I can't send outgoing e-mail. settings test shows OK then a protocol error pops up. Can't find the error code that pops up. 0x80040607. I have run the repair but that didn't help. I have spent days working on it and can't get it working.

I need to change my outlook exchange provider. Unfortunately, I can no longer connect to the old provider, but every time I start Outlook it tries to, and when it fails, won't open the client. I have even tried holding the <shift> key which sometimes disables certain aspects of other Microsoft programs. Help!!! Thanks in advance

I downloaded a trial of Office 2010 and while setting up Outlook lost power. Now Outlook is stuck in a loop saying it does not have an internet connection and cannot complete set-up and closes. I've just brought thousands of contacts in from Outlook 2003 into 2007 contacts. A PST file. I have 15 different contacts sub folders. My CUSTOMERS sub folder has 900 entries. I never used the FILE AS field, I just always sorted by COMPANY NAME, and in Outlook 2003 I was able to choose the contact by COMPANY NAME in the TO: box. Hi, I'm trying to configure Outlook Cached Exchange mode for all users who will get Office 2010 installed. Let me outline the process I'm running through... Currently the majority of users use Outlook 2007 and cached exchange mode is disabled.
