Open Windows Explorer. If using Windows XP, then in the Address field,
enter
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
If using Windows Vista or 7, enter
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook
Press Enter. You should then see a file named "extend.dat". Delete that
file and start Outlook. The problem should be gone.
