Hi folks,

choosing File Send To in Excel, then clicking on "To", the

definately does not link to the GAL.

Without all the details, it could be that your Outlook is
trying to send the mail in and Exchange format rather than
the more generic internet mail (SMTP).
I'm working under the assumption that this is not in a
corporate environment that is running an Exchange server.
If this is the case, then your mail settings, in the
control panel should not have an Exchange server
configured.
I get this error message intermittently with Outlook. I
cannot find any reference to it or how to fix it within the
MS supposed self help. Dell's expert help, that MS tells
me I need to work with, also are clueless. Any ideas/fixes

Is there a setting within Group Policy to force certain
outlook settings for users? There is a problem with some
employees changing their default Send/Receive time to

traffic. I wanted to force this option to a higher value
for all workstations without having to go around to each

Thanks.
What version of Outlook is he using, and if 98 or 2000, what mail
support mode? If you're not sure, look at the second line of Help |
About Microsoft Outlook -- it should say "Internet Mail Only" or
"Corporate/Workgroup". (Outlook 97 and 2002 don't have separate modes.)

Hi,
These are the steps I did:
1. I created a COM-wrapper for my Outlook.tlb for
Outlook10 in VS.NET IDE.
2. I used tlbimp to sign the wrapper with a strong name
(this was because I was getting an error which said there
was no strong name in the assembly)
3. I used ildasm to create the intermediate language file.
4. I changed all the "private" sinkhelper qualifier

I am using Outlook in a pure POP3 environment (i.e. no

Have you tried using either a new profile or running scanpst.exe
against your PST file to find errors?
A COM addin shouldn't do anything like that. Have you looked at the

see how to properly build a COM addin using all the best practices?

As a result, my Outlook Today page cannot be customized.
I HATE IT.
Any ideas?

The default reply address is always the default address associated with the user's account. I don't think it needs to be local, though.
