Hello folks,
I want to get the Last Saved Time from a lot of office files on a
SharePoint. I have written some code and it is working very goog. But
I am wondering if I have to open the word file for example read the
date out and close it. Because it takes a long time to get the
LastSaveTime from more than hundred files. Is there another solution

Hello,
I'm using Outlook Object Model to update an appointment using C#.
I'm having a problem with clearing the recurrence pattern of an appointment
that has attendees.
I create a daily recurring meeting with no end date that starts 1 year ago.
Then I execute the following code on the AppointmentItem

Hi!
I have a generic user on our AD that have a mailbox and this user receive an
email every morning...
I created an application with Microsoft Office 2007 PIA and Visual Studio
2005.
The application get the email from today, parse it and create an excel file

Some while back someone posted a question on how to make a TSP the default
Phone Device. One can do it by modifying the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Contact\PhoneDevPrÂimary
but I'd like a better way.
Currently the user has to click Dialing Options, scroll down to my TSP and
select it.

Hi
I am new to creating ol2003 add-in using vb2008. Is there a code example of
how to trap event when user opens a mail item in OL so I can choose to
either allow user opening of the item or give other options as appropriate?

My goal is to add a record to an Access table for each individual email in
Outlook.
Exporting emails from an Outlook folder to an external file is perfect,
except for the date field which is missing from the export.
Is there a way to get the date into the export? or is there a better
approach to getting this information from Outlook to Access?

My XP failed. I backed up the entire drive to an External Drive. Dell could
not repair my XP so we did a reinstall of XP. It came with Outlook Express.
Now I am trying to restore the outlook files from the external drive to my
new Outlook Express environment (which is working fine with my roadrunner

From a C# program, how do I access my own Microsoft Outlook Calendar?
My ultimate goal is to add the information to my screen saver to
notify other employees where I am when not at my desk.
I assume the answer has something to do with an API (Application
Programmer Interface), but I've never used this one before.

HI,
i want to send a mail from winword 2007. when i klick
send as attachment the outlook dilog opens as a modal window.
ich want to close the dialog with a develop addin. but
the dialog don´t closed. the status ist a ghost window.
when i test the addin without mapi in outlook it runs
without problems.
