Hello, I am trying to save the emails from my outlook express to a hard drive in .MSG format, however I cannot seem to do it in a way that shows the sender as either the sender name, or author when viewing it in the details format in windows Library. Hi, Whenever we attach a '.MSG' file from Outlook, its extension doesn't appear. Whereas if mail is sent to outlook from mail client other than Outlook , the file's extension is displayed. Does Outlook consider MSG file as a normal attachment?? Please guide me. Thanks in advance. Rajesh

I am trying to create a list of outlooks tasks that I do every week (depending on where I am headed) - is there a way to create a "task template" so that every week I do not need to recreate the list? For Example: Begin Middle End I have roughly 20-25 different things I must complete for that week or day depending and this would make it easier than recreating it each time. Thank

I just upgraded from 2003 to 2010 In 2003 I had custom forms an used the "Existing Items Converter" COM Add In to change forms to my custom form. Is there such an option in Outlook 2010 to change forms (existing items) from one to another? Thank you. Shawn

I have created a custom OL form based on the Contact form. I want to save data from some of the fields to a text file. I want to initiate the save using the WRITE event. I have written the SUB in VBA to save the data, but can't call the SUB from the form VBS. What is the solution or workaround? -- I ask, therefore I am.

Hi I have created a custom form and have it saved in my personal forms library. I have attached it in a general email to several users as in insert to a message. Showing up in the body of the email as an envelope. I have a room request form for facility rentals. I'm using O2003 and using Redemption. I have it working so I can invoke the Paste Special dialog, however, it never actually pastes. I need to select "Text" and click OK from the Paste Special dialog. Is it possible to have Outlook automatically paste unformatted text? Is there any sample code that someone can point me too? In the message header, the standard "Attached:" text label had been replaced with an envelope icon followed by the word "Message". I am investigating the use of the Routing Feature in Outlook (and other Office Programs) to see if it could be used to route several documents with a covering memo or email to several people for review/sign-off. It would need to be able to handle attachments and would have to be able to include up to 5 people (email addresses) to whom the documents would be routed. Any ideas?

I am creating a custom Outlook email form and I keep hitting a snag with the section that populates the “To” field. The form will be used as an interoffice email form to update our Project Leads on project progress/issues. I created a custom template that I would like to access from the tool bar instead of through the menus. Is there a way to do that? I saw a way to do it with forms using VBEditor but that wouldn't work with a template. Does anyone know how I can accomplish adding a button to the toolbar that will open my OFT file? Thanks!
