I am using OE6 with an independant news reader which has worked fine up to now. After recent problems I have unsubscribed to a newsgroup then resubscribed. There are 700000 headers and it takes an age to download them and locks up part way through the downloads. Is there a way to download just the last 31 days (or a portion) of the postings. Have a fairly new install of XP Pro SP3. As of today I've found that with Outlook Express, I suddenly can't compose new messages in my main identity. I can read and reply to messages, but if I try to compose OE crashes. This doesn't happen with any of the other identities. Don't think I've ever encountered this before. Anyone know how to fix this? Hey there, Just yesterday, it seems emails are being sent from my email address that say RSET QUIT about once every 1-5 minutes. They do not show up in my sent folder, but people are reporting getting them. Any ideas?

Someone suggested using outlook for my emails. I have 2003 and arranged my verizon account to link to it. All my emails initially went in there yesterday (hundreds).
