Aus mir unerklärlichen Gründen hat sich die bisherige Einstellung
geändert.
1.) Auf der 2-spaltigen OE-Stardseite konnte ich bislang die Email
anklicken und es öffnete sich eine neue Seite mit dem Inhalt.
Jetzt erreiche ich das nur noch, wenn ich die Startseite nach dem
Anklicken minimiere.
2.) Ein mit einer gesendeten Email verknüpfter Anhang wird automatisch
eliminiert ohne dass

I need to know how to group together certain contacts that may always get the
same message. My husband is coaching flag football and I want to group all
the players in one folder or such in order to find them all quickly. Can
this be done and how?

Hi,
Aunties' Asus X5DIJ laptop has Win7 Home Premium preinstalled in it. And so
of course, no OE, and I'm not in the least familiar with what seems to be a
massive pile of garbage in there called something like Windows Mail -
alongside lots of other applications called "Windows ???? ...this and that.

Hello,
I did some updating on this machine a few weeks ago and now, in growing
frequency, I keep getting a pester box to compact. I have compacted and
still got the message an hour or less later. I tried compacting every group
individually and still get it. It really is getting annoying and seems to be
telling me that something else is amiss... but what?

I can't find out how to do this in OE, though Outlook has the option
to set a different REPLY TO address for a specific email, without
having to change the information globally in the account information
under TOOLS. Also, my email sniffer has an extra field labelled REPLY
TO where I just type in the different address the few times I need to
do that at any given moment>

Win XP Pro SP3 OE6
I have several folders in my Outlook Bar.Occasionally and for no apparent
reason, some of them disappear!It can be any of them, not just the user
generated ones. In other words it could be the Deleted,Drafts and a couple
of user folders. And not always the same ones.
A restart of OE puts everything back to normal.
Didn't see anything relevant in Google.

I just lost 3 months of emails from my inbox. I have everything before
12/3/2009 and I seem to have recent messages from 3/25/2010. All the in
between are gone. They disappeared at one moment a few days ago. Any idea
of how that can happen and if there is any way for me to get them back?

My Home/Student trial offer expired and I tried to convert to the full
version, but loaded a trial offer of Office Professional by mistake. It
stated everything from Outlook Express would move over to Professional
Outlook, but it didn't. I've lost my contacts info, calendared appointment
info and messages I had in my Inbox. Any suggestions on how I recover this
info? I currently

Its taking ages to load up all of a sudden, so I assume that there must be a
corrupted file somewhere. I am using XP and ie8. How can I repair it

In Outlook Express I have several accounts. When I do a [reply to all]
on a message sent to several addresses, OE does not only filter the
account from which the message is answered (=myself), but all of my
accounts.
It looks like it's be design, but for me not very handy, because some of
theses accounts are used group-wise.
Is this somewhere configurable, of does this solution need

All of a sudden my Folders List in the left panel has disappeared. All that
is showing is the name, Local Folders. There is no tree showing under it. If
I click that name, I get another window showing all of the folder names.
This window covers my Message panel and the Preview Panel.
If I click one of the folders on the pop up panel, the name gets put in the
Folders List tree. The

When I try to type an email, the default beep sounds at what seems like every
8th keystroke and the cursor moves to the Outlook files - out of the email
I'm trying to type. The problem began about 3 days ago and seems to be
connected with speed of typing. [Very slow = fewer interruptions]

I have a large number of e-mail messages stored in folders in Outlook
Express 6 on a computer running XP Home. I would like to move them all to a
backup drive to free space on my "C" drive. I want to be able to retrieve
them for future reference without over writing new folders. How can I do

ubuntu..is this spam or do I just have problem I tried sending it to myself

OE nicely combines and decodes non-yEnc files, but apparently, you need a
separate yEnc encoder for the vast majority of the binary files which are
yEnc. Most of the info I found on OE and yEnc encoders seems to be very
old. Does anyone have a suggestion and or current info regarding a yEnc
encoder to be used with OE.

I received an email with an attachment that was a pps.
When I open the email I got a message that said,
"OE removed access to the following unsafe attachment in your mail:"
This is the second one that I could not open.
Do I need to change a setting?

The reader pane in my OE6 has a problem. As I read and scroll down
usually using my Intellimouse scroll wheel button the screen jumps back to
the top. Can this be fixed?

New messages in "inbox" cannot to opened. I get two error messages;
something about "cannot be displayed" and the second message; "not enough
memory". But after rebooting it seemed to work OK, but the first email was
in a very small window. Very unusual. This is the first time this happened
after seven years using winxp!! What is going on?

OE empty.
The address book still has them in, but I can't see how to get them back in
the panel.

I came in to work this moring and found the message "Windows could not load
the locally stored profile." --- ACK! All my stuff is as if Windows has been
installed freshly!

the size of "deleted items.dbx" remains at 75,000+kb. My server type is
pop3 (so I don't have to use Windows Live.) How can I reduce the size of

Now I have to use the mouse button and select from the drop-down menu.

I want to paste a page from MS Word (2003) into an email. The page includes
borders, shadings and wingdings. However, when I go to paste it into the
email I get the message "One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed

Have WLM but posts cannot be seen. Replies can be seen but only sometimes.

Recently (Jan-Feb) the spellchecker in Outlook Express
(6.00.2900.5521(xpsp.080413-2105)) is suggesting only foreign words for my
English ones. Investigating, it is using a French dictionary.
Tools->Options->Spelling->Language
French (France) is the only item in the pulldown selector
How can I get it to use an English dictionary?
