Last week I received help here when I couldn't send e-mail on my newly
acquired netbook.

I now notice that the spell check rejects every word. At the bottom of the
Spelling tab on Tools>Options there is a language header and it says French
with no apparent options to change it. I presume that is my problem

Do I have any alternatives other than to type in French or disable spell
check?
