when i read a message in a newsgroup (and its happening in all the
newsgroups I use), when i then go to read one or more new messages it
continues to show the details of the last message I read.

even if i leave the group, read new messages elsewhere then go back to the
group where it happened it will still show that one message. it will
eventually load a new message but its annoying that its showing an old
message when new ones should be being displayed.

any ideas?
