Is there any eventvwr log visualization tool? When troubleshooting problems on servers, it's very helpful first to look into the eventvwr logs. It occured to me if I can view the events in timeline, it would be very insightful for the analysis. Is there any tool to visualize the events in a graph something like perfmon? Thanks in advance. -- Daewon YOON

Hi, You can try a popular BKF file recovery tool called Advanced BKF Repair to repair your BKF file. It is a powerful tool to repair corrupt or damaged BKF files. Detailed information about Advanced BKF Repair can be found at http://www.datanumen.com/abr/ And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/abr/abr.exe Jim > On Monday, May 28, 2007 2:48

BTW - if I rename the setup.exe to, say, install.exe, it runs just fine. This is happening for all

My Windows 7 desktop doesn't crash with it as second drive if I pass the check disk on start. Just got a new HP G6 server setup and the OS (Win '08 Standard) installed. 1.) I noticed that the IP protocol was not installed by default. Is it on the install disk and where ? 2.) What is the equivalent of the i386 folder on a Win Server '08 ? I don't see that folder on the install CD. We used to always copy this folder to the OS drive, or is that practice out dated ? Thanks

On 2003, simply set the security either on the task security tab or by cacling the *.JOB with READ/EXECUTE on the applicable task. This will allow the user to manage the task. This will allow him/her to run the task whenever while not allowing him/her to modify the which program is executed. You should ensure also that the user does not have the ability to modify the batch file, script or
