Our office runs Windows 2003 SBS and most of our files are stord on that

We've been storing all types of files there, but today I went upstairs to

I have a client trying to do this same thing. The work around by KJ does work to make the TS server show up as an option in the 2003 RWW screen. You have to add that registry entry to the TS server, not the SBS server. I also wanted to add that my client has not purchased licensing yet, so after the option to log into the TS server is displayed, you click on it and get a list of TS servers

Can anyone help shed any light on a following issue I am having on a
Server that I manage.
It is an SBS2003 system will all of the latest updates installed. Set
up with 2 NIC.
There are 4 client PC all running XP SP3.
For reasons I cannot establish at the moment, a client will disconnect
from the server. Sometimes it automatically reconnect, other times
you need to double click
I have pretty much the exact same issue with our server 2008 R2. Some XP workstations are slower than others. Ive switched out network cards (dlink/Intel) but network lag still occurs. The lag is not that bad but it should be faster than it is.

Hi All,
I have a SBS 2003 Premium server (running ISA) nearing max capacity,

Drobo B800i connects to the server via ISCSI (on its own dedicated NIC

My plan would be to stop/disable DHCP on the SBS 2011 server and plug it

I have a question regarding ISA 2004 on SBS2003.... Can ISA send an

just fine.

I notice that by default the VPN subnet mask as configured by SBS 2008
does not respect the CIDR subnet mask on the LAN. This means that you
can't VPN from a 10.0.0.0/24 LAN via two NAT routers to a 10.10.10.0/24
LAN because the routing table gets two routes for 10.0.0.0 instead of a
route for 10.0.0.0 and a route for 10.10.10.0. Is this by design? Should

Hello,
I manage my wife's company SBS2003 Std server which is currently at 5
users. We have it kept it very simple, so I'd like to know how
migrating to 2008 or 2011 may affect the handful of tasks we do.

connection or web interface. (No POP3 connector)
2) Software VPN support: handy for users to connect from home.

Hi Everyone,
I'm considering moving Exchange services of a a client's SBS 2003 server to Office 365. There are a few questions I have for the pros out there:
1 - Can SBS 2003 run smoothly without Exchange? Is it better to disable Exchange services or completely uninstall? The only requirement is to keep SMTP services to get SBS reports and other servers that send reports via the SBS

There is also a Windows 2003 machine with Exchange 2003 Ent running

user logged into it not knowing I was logged into it and kicked me

Any ideas on how to get it back--it is Windows 7 64-Bit?

Hi there
Iam battling this issue for a while now and still can't figure out the
source. Our server is getting bombarded with Logon type 3 attempts (9258

Is it possible that one of our workstations got compromised and is being

hi,
Using shared fax service on our windows 2003 standard box.
We sent faxes from our windows xp and vista clients using both the

Hello,
I was trying to turn off dhcp on my router and on on SBS 2003 Premium but did
